Lead multidisciplinary construction delivery for HV substation and transmission projects, coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, protection, control, SAS, testing and commissioning interfaces. Manage contractors and field teams through daily coordination, work-front planning, three-week look-ahead schedules, manpower deployment, equipment utilization and progress measurement. Control HSE performance through permit-to-work readiness, risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, inspections and work-at-height controls. Drive quality compliance using approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, MIRs, inspections, punch lists, NCRs and as-built documentation. Coordinate equipment and material delivery, storage and installation for GIS, transformers, MV switchgear, protection/control panels, batteries, cables, busbars and communication systems. Work with engineering and vendors to resolve drawing, routing, access and constructability issues before they affect installation or commissioning. Monitor schedule risks, material constraints and subcontractor performance; issue progress reports, recovery priorities, decision requests and stakeholder follow-ups. Maintain records of scope changes, delays, resource impacts and additional work to support contract administration and variation evaluation.
Supervised construction activities for a major 380 kV overhead transmission-line program of approximately 400 km, coordinating work fronts, subcontractors, resources and stakeholder interfaces. Planned daily and weekly execution, monitored progress and escalated access, material, equipment and productivity constraints for timely resolution. Implemented HSE and quality controls through risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, inspections, ITPs, material checks and as-built records. Coordinated plant, material and equipment deliveries, temporary works and site logistics while maintaining records for progress and commercial follow-up.
Supervised electrical construction and OHTL activities, directing electricians and technicians in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements. Coordinated equipment installation, cable pulling and termination, earthing, testing interfaces and protection/control works for HV/MV substations. Prepared progress updates, organized manpower and work fronts, verified material readiness and supported punch-list closure and handover documentation.
